20 Minute Kickboxing Fitness Home Workout – LombardMMA-FIT “The Breakthrough” Workout #3

20 minute beginner to intermediate kickboxing home fitness workout. Focusing on basic kickboxing punches, kicks, combinations, defense, counter striking, and footwork. Techniques include: Jab, cross, hook, uppercut, stance, parry, head shield, Clinching, snap kick, foot jab, knees, elbows. Good for all ages, beginner skill levels, and beginner fitness levels.

Workout Sequence:

1. Pendulum step/toe heel/double bounce/figure 8
2. Jab rear snap kick
3. Lead snap kick cross
4. Jab cross jab rear snap kick
5. Lead snap kick cross jab cross
6. Jab rear foot jab
7. Jab cross switch foot jab

10. Clinch n knee doubles pendulum

14. Lead hand parry rear snap kick hook cross hook

MMAFx is a mixed martial arts/football off-season cross training system that is used by NFL and collegiate teams and players to increase their speed, power, timing, precision, endurance, and confidence to help them ‘GAIN an EDGE’ on the football field.

Martial Arts Fitness is a life-long Physical Education curriculum designed to bring an alternative fitness activity through martial arts to Physical Education departments and their participating students. The goals are to increase a students endurance, strength, and confidence.
